Walking Hockey Resumes at a New Time!

Do you have a New Year’s resolution to get more active? You might have a relative, friend or neighbour who could come along with you.

  • Do you think you are too old to play a sport?
  • Have reduced mobility?
  • Looking to meet new friends?
  • Just want to try a new sport?
  • Does the hockey you’ve seen on TV look too fast for you but you still have the urge to play?

If you answered YES to any of the above we have just the thing for you – WALKING HOCKEY!

These sessions are perfect if you haven’t played the sport at all or, for years and might be attracted to a new angle on our sport.

We meet at Sidmouth Leisure Centre from Sunday 14th Jan 2018 until 4th Feb, resuming at Ottery Leisure Centre on Sun 25th Feb (we break for half-term) –  Sessions from 1100-1200 cost just £4.

Kit. There are a few kit requirements. We have a stick for you to borrow. You just need some shin pads (those used for football will do) and a gum shield. Both can be bought from a local sports shop.

If you are interested in this exciting opportunity contact us with your details –  sidmouthandotteryhc@live.co.uk.
