NEW YEAR RESTART – Latest Information
Welcome back! We hope everyone had a pleasant Christmas and New Year.
As we look to resume hockey, we find ourselves in Tier 3 which means we can still train and play locally (in Devon). With that in mind this is the current plan.
Senior Teams – Men and Ladies.
Training will resume this week.
Mens’ training: Tuesday 5th January 2021, 19:30-21:30, Ottery Leisure Centre
Ladies’ training: Wednesday 6th January 2021, 3s & 4s 19:30 – 20:25, 1s & 2s 20:35 – 21:30, Ottery Leisure Centre.
There were some friendlies arranged for Saturday 9th January 2021, but as we are now in a different tier (3) some rejigging will have to take place. Please keep an eye on Pitchero invites to find out the details of whether you have a friendly or training match/run around.
We are awaiting information from the respective league committees on the plans for the resumption of league hockey from 16th January 2021 onwards. We have approached Devon Hockey Association with other clubs to see if a programme of friendlies can be arranged.
Junior Academy & Rusty Hockey.
This will resume on Sunday 10th January 2021 at Sidmouth Leisure Centre.
Boys & Rustys: 10:00 – 10:55
Girls: 11:05 – 12:00

In summary:
· Please do not attend hockey if you have or think you have COVID-19 symptoms or are unwell.
· Remember that you should keep a 2m physical distance from all those outside your household or support bubble AT ALL TIMES when the ball is not in play. This includes non-stick & ball warm ups and getting ready.
· Bring hand sanitizer and use it (there is sanitizer provided at both pitches as well).
· You should not travel in a car to any hockey activities with people outside of your household or support bubble.
· NEW: If you live outside of Devon, sorry, but you cannot attend hockey within Devon.
Things will undoubtedly change but we will continue to communicate these changes as soon as we know.
