Since the last update at the start of this week, the excellent weather has allowed the contractor team to crack on. The shockpad has been completed and new posts installed to raise the height of the perimeter fence on three sides – by the car park and behind both 11-a-side goals. The pitch-side recesses have also been completed (see below).
In case you didn’t know, the pitch will be two-tone – a classic green playing area with a bright blue surround. We understand that the astro carpet will arrive shortly.
