Congratulations firstly to Guy Rudolph on his promotion to Level 1 Assessed Umpire status following his neutral appointed game on Saturday 4th Nov at Exeter Uni (with DHUA Chief Umpire Coach and Assessor Peter Hammond present); it is a little unusual these days to be successful at the first attempt, but Guy’s new status is no surprise and is well deserved!
We also have to welcome a new Level 1 unassessed umpire to our ranks, Guy’s son Eddie Rudolph who attended the Level 1 Course at the Uni on Sunday 5th Nov to come away with his umpiring qualification; we await official confirmation (and his EH Reg number) from England Hockey. Well done to Eddie!
