These photos were taken on 15 Jun 2017, the day before our new pitch at Ottery was handed over to Leisure East Devon. We’ll post some photos of the finished facility asap.
The photos show the surface being brushed to spread the 89 tonnes of sand that had been patiently sitting in large bags for the last few weeks. The sand will slowly disappear with use helped by a little rainfall and lots more brushing.
Some snagging work will be necessary as the Community starts to use the pitch.
Not bad is it?!
