Following a meeting of the Executive Committee on 22nd March, subject to the Government adhering to their “road-map”, the Club is intent on following a Plan A on a Return to Hockey, and looking to extend activities well into May.
As of 26th March. the dates for your diary are as follows:
Senior Training (Men) – Tue 30th March, 6th, 13th & 20th April at Ottery, 1930-2130. Expected to continue on subsequent Tuesdays up to 18th May.
Senior Training (Ladies) – Wed 31st March, 7th, 14th & 21st April at Ottery, 1930-2130. Expected to continue on subsequent Wednesdays up to 19th May.
Saturday friendly games (Men & Ladies friendlies) – Sat 17th & 24th April at Ottery, 1100-1700 (tbc), continuing up to 22nd May. UPDATE: Sat 10th April at Sidmouth, 1030-1330.
Sunday Junior Academy & Rustys – Sun 18th & 25th April at Ottery, 1000-1200, continuing up to 23rd May. Boys 1000-1100 and Girls 1100-1200.
Covid protocols and restrictions: please note that these will the same as those that applied in December last year.
Beyond this there are other Devon Hockey competitions that we are hoping will kick in to keep a limited amount of hockey going through summer: Ladies’ Summer League, Men’s Summer League & Mixed Summer League.
