Following on from our really successful hockey camps earlier in the season and last summer, the Club is very pleased to be able to offer a one day junior hockey camp on Fri 22nd August. This is a great opportunity to learn and play from our amazing resident coach – John Shaw – formerly of England and GB!! John will be supported by an outstanding group of talented junior assistant coaches.
Aim: To provide a fantastic opportunity for our young player to learn new skills through lots of fun activities and game-based play. All abilities welcome.
Where: Ottery Leisure Centre, Cadhay Lane, Ottery St Mary EX11 1QW. Outside on the All-Weather Pitch.
When: Fri 22nd August 2025, 1000-1530hrs (5 hours playing time plus a break for lunch).
Who: Boys and Girls – U10-U14s (young players who were in Years 4 – 9 in the academic year just completed). It is an open camp for club juniors, their family members and friends in the target age groups.
Cost: £40 per day. 20 juniors are needed for the camp to run.
How to sign-up: It’s a simple process as follows: Parents email me at the Club – sidmouthandotteryhc@live.co.uk with the name of your child/children to reserve a place(s). Parents are kindly asked to share this email with interested family and friends to spread the word.
The closing date for bookings is the end of FRIDAY 15TH AUGUST 2025. Please don’t delay as we expect places to go quite quickly!
Pitchero invoices will then be sent out as soon as soon the magic number of participants has been reached. An admin note containing final admin and safeguarding details will be sent out a few days before the camp. For juniors who are not members, arrangements will be shared with their parents via email to complete essential registration admin and to make payment direct to the Club.
